Important Information for All Families to BSD/Medina:

School Supply List

School Supply List for 2026-27

Summer break just started, but we’re already thinking about next year.  All students will be provided with the essential instructional materials they need for learning —such as textbooks, paper, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, and more thanks to funding from the school and our dedicated, and supportive PTA.  Thank you in advance for sending the optional supplies in above list with your child at the beginning of the new school year.

Summer Playdates hosted by Medina PTA

This is optional, but a great way for students and parents to get to know each other before school begins.

Medina PTA is excited to host the annual back-to-school playdates! Get to know new friends, and meet up with friends from previous school years. Dates will be posted when made available.

Our elementary school and PTA have a close partnership as we strive to serve and enrich the learning experiences for every student at Medina Elementary.  Look for the PTA table at our Meet the Teacher event.  Visit Medina PTA website below.

Multi-Lingual Learners (MLL)

Students who are considered multilingual and who have not been previously tested in WA state will be initially assessed with the WIDA Screener to be eligible for services. Most students will complete the assessment when they start attending school in the Fall.

For more information on the eligibility process and about the department, please visit the Multilingual Learners website. Have additional questions? Please contact multilingualinfo@bsd405.org.
